Andros: Skoda goes on the attack again

Skoda France, after the success of the last two editions of the Andros Trophy, decided to set off on an adventure again. Again, Alain Prost (Dacia) will be the man to beat but, this time, it will be without Jean-Philippe Dayraut, double reigning champion. The leader of the brand is Olivier Panis, who will be keen to move up a gear after a 2009-2010 financial year marked by the domination of Haut-Garonnais.

In addition to Paul Belmondo and Grégoire Demoustier, already present last winter, Skoda is banking on Franck Lagorce, who drove last winter in Renault Clio III (DA Competition). “ There are steering wheels that you have to have, the Skoda driver's in the Andros is one of them. I will give my best to be worthy of this trust, always having in mind our number 1 objective: to offer the title to Skoda », confides the former endurance driver. He is also delighted to find a pilot he appreciates. “ I couldn't dream of anything better than joining Olivier Panis. Between us, it is a story of friendship, which has lasted since our common season of Formula 3000 in 1994, and which is not about to stop. »

Olivier Panis, also happy to find Franck Lagorce at his side, will have the title as his objective, after a last mixed exercise: “ We are approaching this Trophy in the best conditions. The passion of all the members of Team Škoda increases my motivation and my desire to have a great season. I did my apprenticeship with them last year, and I am happy to find Grégoire Demoustier, with added experience, and Paul Belmondo.
