Alexander, where are we going?

At the top of the Mont-Saint-Aubert hill climb. Belgium may be called the Flat Country – this is particularly true in the Tournai region – but there are hill climbs there. This is traced on a hill in the Picardy plain. From there, when the weather permits, you can see France for miles. A perfect summary of my life: I am originally from the North and have lived in Belgium for over thirty years. We are not far from Mouscron, where I established the headquarters of All Exclusive Car (AEC). I chose this place because it is a motorway junction close to the French-Belgian border. We therefore address customers from both countries.

And why on board a Porsche 911 Dakar?

It’s a nod to my double participation in the most famous of rally raids. But also to the legendary Franco-Belgian friendship. Remember… René Metge shone on the Porsche at the Dakar thanks to a program put together by Jacky Ickx. The current car takes on the look of the car that triumphed in the African edition in 1984, but it is also an exclusive model: only 2 examples were built. In addition, its ground clearance can be increased by 500 millimeters. Enough to calmly face the state of Belgian roads which is far from exemplary! With 80 hp and all-wheel drive, it's a car that offers great sensations.

You took part in the Dakar late in life!
