Aurélien Panis masters electrical technology. The Frenchman, winner in Andros Trophy Electric in 2018, then the last race at the Stade de France in February 2019 with an electric car, won the first edition of the Andros e-Trophy, this February 1 at Super Besse (Puy-de-Dôme).
The Grenoble driver, first leader of the winter in Val-Thorens, led a long battle with the four-time defending champion Jean-Baptiste Dubourg (Renault). The Girondin, however, left his position as No. 1 in ice races after the qualifying rounds of the final.
To round off the evening, Olivier Panis' son won the race, under Sébastien's nose and beard. Loeb. The nine-time world rally champion (WRC) spent the six laps nestled in the leader's bumper, without managing to overtake him, on a snow-free track.
