We thought Garcès was behind on his new Lamborghini Huracan Supertrofeo, without counting on his qualities as a developer. Down on Saturday, he won at Bagnols-Sabran and therefore continued his good momentum.

Behind, Yannick Poinsignon on his BMW M3 E92 must leave 2nd place overall, ahead of a surprising Paul Reutter for whom it will not have been complicated to return to the front of the stage.

Billy Ritchen had dominated Saturday practice, and on the grounds of his new ASA, he won for the first time in his career. The Alsatian is also the first driver since Fabien Bourgeon in 2020 to impose an atmospheric E2SC prototype in CFM.

Damien Chambérod tried everything on the last climb, even setting the absolute best time, but was the victim of a botched start in the second attempt. Sébastien Petit takes 3rd place overall.

The second round of the French Mountain Championship will take place next week in Saint-Jean-du-Gard, a round also counting for the European Mountain Championship.
