Production Category

It was a torrential rain which greeted the little people of the coast as they woke up on this Saturday morning but the competitors in the Production category ultimately benefited from a dry track for their first effort of the day.

Yannick Poinsignon (BMW M3 E92) took control of the tests after the first two climbs of the day but it was ultimately Ronald Garcès (Audi R2 LMS Ultra) who ended the day in the lead. Anthony Dubois (Alpine A110) takes 3rd place of the day.

Sports category

As with their closed car counterparts, the Sport category drivers had to deal with a track that was initially drying, then made damp again by the appearance of a downpour in the middle of the day.

Geoffrey Schatz (Nova NP01-2 1.7 Turbo) in the last effort of the day came very close to his own track record and finished the day in the lead. Behind, the gaps are tiny and Fabien Bourgeon (Revolt 3P0) takes 2nd position in the category, ahead of Cyrille Frantz (Osella PA30T).

This Sunday, 3 race climbs will take place for all the pilots entered in this 4th round of the 2021 French Mountain Championship!
