Ken Block withdraws from Pikes Peak

“Bad news: engine broken, we tried everything! The Hoonipigasus dropped a valve, causing a major engine failure, and despite the joint BBI x HRD team exhausting our resources to try and fix it (we even borrowed parts and the best motorsport technology from Porsche of California!), we missed qualifying this morning, so unfortunately we will not be going up Pikes Peak for the 100th edition of the event, explained the king of gymkhana on his Twitter account. We are all disgusted, to say the least. Betim (Berisha, the donor of BBI Autosport. Editor's note) and the rest of the team built us a great car and did everything to repair it, but sometimes that's not how racing works. »

The Californian wanted to reassure his fans: the car and the driver will be visible at the Fan Fest.
