Your last season in F1 dates back to 2013, ten years ago. Does it seem far away already?
In fact, I feel like it was yesterday, four or five years no more. It's amazing because boys like Jenson (Button), Rubens (Barrichello) and others are still racing. They miss the competition. I don't miss driving at all, unlike team life, the camaraderie and the way F1 is organized. Once you return to normal life, you realize how precise everything is. It’s such a structured industry, and that’s also what makes it so special. I'm happy to have enjoyed all this for fifteen years, its speed too. Everything moves quickly in F1. Everything happens in a snap of the fingers. The environment is so competitive that you have to work quickly.
The world champion title didn't come that far in 2010. Any regrets?
