The team has just announced its full participation in the European Rallycross Championship as well as several World RX meetings.

DA Racing turns to electric in World RX

While electric is arriving for 2022 in the world championship of Rallycross, several teams confirm their participation. This is the case of DA Racing which has just communicated on this subject. The French team will be entered in the entire European Rallycross championship but also in some World RX meetings. As for the drivers, we trust Jean-Baptiste and Andréa Dubourg to develop the car which is moving towards electric. The objective is clear: win the title in Euro RX1, but also perform as best as possible in the new RX1e in 2022. 

“We are looking forward to being able to participate in another full season of Euro RX1, declares Jean-Baptiste Dubourg. We made good use of the long pandemic break to take the WRX 208 to the next level with a number of new features. We will also take part in the brand new Nürburgring World RX meeting. »

Same story with Andrea.

“I have always enjoyed riding the Euro RX1,” explains Andrea Dubourg. The circuits on the calendar are superb and we must always be at our top level to perform well. We performed well in 2020 with a podium in Höljes. My goal is to become Euro RX1 world champion and our appearance in World RX should prepare us to succeed in this challenge. »
