Dakar – Chicherit prepares to plunge back into the unknown

Guerlain Chicherit is once again diving into the unknown by setting off on the 2015 Dakar which will begin tomorrow in Buenos Aires (Argentina). The Frenchman will be at the wheel ofa new Buggy made by Team X-Raid powered by a diesel with which he carried out only a few tests.

The French driver, who was the first in 2011 to drive the Mini All4 Racing, expects to have to overcome some mechanical problems. “The mission that Sven Quandt has set for me is togo further than Peugeot . We don't know exactly how it will perform in terms of reliability, since we've never really driven more than 200 kilometers with it. I expect to experience something similar to 2013 with the Buggy SMG, with which I had very good days, but I also lost time the next day because of the mechanics", commented Guerlain Chicherit on the official website of the Dakar.

Guerlain Chicherit nevertheless remains confident since he managed to take eighth place in 2013 on his previous Buggy.
