Dakar – Harry Hunt on a Peugeot 2008 DKR

CARhebdo indicated last August (see Ah n°2077), the PH Sport team, which had recently acquired three Peugeot 2008 DKR, planned to line up at the start of the next Rally of Morocco (October 1 – 7).

With this in mind, Bernard Piallat’s training will thus be able to count on the arrival of Harry Hunt, who will take part in the Moroccan event assisted by Andy Schulz, with a more important objective in his sights.

Hunt will indeed be lined up at the start of the next Dakar next January on the Lioness and will use Morocco as a dress rehearsal to familiarize themselves with driving the winning buggy of the South American rally-raid at the start of the year.

“I’m really looking forward to racing again and driving the Peugeot for the first time, Hunt explains. It’s a big challenge for me, and my only goal will be to reach the finish and try to learn a little more about the car. It's actually only the first time that I'm returning to a rally that I've already competed in, so it will help me to know what awaits me. »
