Dakar – PH-Sport buys the 2008 DKR16

As we revealed to you exclusively in issue 2055 of AUTOhebdo, PH-Sport is preparing to take on a new challenge by launching a program in Rally-Raid. The structure renowned for its activities in WRC acquired the three Peugeot 2008 DK16, the Sochaux manufacturer planning to field the new 3008 DKR in 2017.

The French team will be in charge of the preparation and operation of these three vehicles which will be intended for rental from September to compete in the Morocco Rally (from October 1 to 7) and the Dakar 2017.

“We are very excited to embark on a new challenge”, commented Bernard Piallat, director of PH-Sport. “Being able to offer the best Rally-raid car for rental is an exceptional opportunity, both for PH-Sport and for the drivers who choose to join us. We approach this new program with humility, because we know that we have a lot to learn in this discipline. »
