The 2019 season offered a great spectacle with a fierce fight for the title at the end of which Timmy Hansen emerged victorious on his Peugeot 208 WRX. The season was full of suspense after two years of domination by Johan Kristoffersson.

If Timmy Hansen was the biggest winner of the season with 4 victories, Andreas Bakkerud was the most consistent on the podium with 6 top 3 finishes in the Final at the wheel of his Monster Energy RX Cartel Audi S1.

Timmy Hansen snatched the coronation with the same number of points as his Norwegian opponent. It was the number of victories that the Swede made the difference at the end of an epic final in Cape Town (South Africa) where the member of Team Hansen almost lost everything.

The former official Peugeot driver could have scored an additional victory during the season opener in Abu Dhabi where he was hit by Andreas Bakkerud. The season was rich in contacts as often in Rallycross.
