Orphaned by Daniel Elena since March, Sébastien Loeb has finally chosen its new partner for the 2022 Dakar.
Next year in Saudi Arabia, the Alsatian will be guided by the Belgian Fabian Lurquin. The former partner of Mathieu Serradori was chosen among several co-drivers “ specialists and experienced in rally-raid » after several weeks « exchanges and tests » explains Sébastien Loeb.
« His approach to racing and his experience convinced me, adds the Prodrive driver. The presentation of the Dakar 2022 which took place last week, where navigation will always have more importance, definitively sealed my choice ».
Fabian Lurquin chosen, the two men will be able to “ start work and begin a preparation program to get to know ourselves better in order to be ready for the start of this legendary event ».
