Fabien Pailler and Febreau ignite Lohéac

If the leader of the D1 Samuel Peu had triggered hostilities by taking pole position in the A final, the driver of the Peugeot 207 " WRC » wearing the No. 4 was unable to take full advantage of the poor performance of his main rival, Jérôme Grosset-Janin, stopped in Final B. The quickest to set off, Fabien Pailler took charge straight away reins of the race to never let go, perfectly resisting the assaults of Gaëtan Sérazin, Samuel Peu and François Duval, Sébastien?s former teammate Loeb in the World Rally Championship. The podium will finally be completed by Sérazin and Peu, who managed to surprise Duval in the final moments. The Belgian can still be satisfied with his performance. He is ahead of the 2009 French champion Marc Laboulle.

The French D1A championship also saw the emergence of a winner who was, to say the least, unexpected. Fourth at Lavaré, Julien Febreau made his second outing this season last weekend. And apparently, it seems that the journalist is as comfortable behind the wheel of his Citroën Saxo kit as he is at the microphone or with a pen in his hand! After having had the luxury of taking pole, Julien Fébreau got off to a very good start before controlling the race like an old hand. On arrival, he is ahead of the Renault Twingo 2 of David Olivier, who still occupies the leader's seat in the general classification, and the Dacia Sandero of David Chanoine. Victim of a puncture, Steven Bossard finished 5th.

In the other categories, the Coupe de France D3? AUTO Trophyhebdo allowed Marc Morize to return to the top step of the podium after two “without” rounds. His Peugeot 207 T3F was the first to take the checkered flag ahead of the Renault Clio T3Fs of Henri Narail and Stéphane Dréan. Finally, the French D4 Cup saw Rudolf Schafer make a victorious return with his new Citroën Saxo Maxi F2000, and Evan Libner scored his first Logan Cup success rallycross for his fourth appearance in the discipline.

In terms of the general classification, Samuel Peu, David Olivier, Marc Morize, Yvonnick Jagu and Clément Dupont respectively dominate the D1, the D1A, the D3, the D4 and the Logan Cup.
