End of the Africa Eco Race 2013 celebrated at Lac Rose

For three hours, everyone was able to express themselves to thank their partners, salute the excellent atmosphere of the event, tell their adventure or even highlight the excellent work of the organizing team and above all pose under the arch. ?arrival of the Sonangol Africa Eco Race, just to immortalize this magical moment that is the arrival of a great rally African.

René Metge of course used his commentary to express his vision of the race. “When with José Maria Servia, Fina Roman and Manfred Kroiss we traced the route of this Sonangol Africa Eco Race 2013, we knew that it would once again be a difficult test”, commented the director of the event held on the sidelines of the Dakar. “We were cold in Morocco and the sands of Mauritania were not very buoyant again this year. Despite this, the competitors were very good since two thirds got through all the difficulties to finally arrive here at Lac Rose. All with a state of mind that I have rarely encountered in my entire career. Based on the glowing comments from everyone on the podium, I think we accomplished our mission and there is nothing that pleases me more than when the participants are satisfied.
