Goodwood cancels its Festival of Speed and Revival

Fans of historic motorsport will not be able to count on the traditional meeting of the Goodwood Festival of Speed This year. The English organizers have confirmed the postponement of the 2020 edition to 2021, just like that of the Revival, against the backdrop of the coronavirus pandemic.

“The challenge we face today is very different, but perhaps even more serious, because it threatens the future of the entire field, indicates the Duke of Richmond and Gordon.

Bringing people together to enjoy the things they love is fundamental to everything we do at Goodwood, so social distancing is having a catastrophic impact on every aspect of our business. These are worrying times, and we are doing what we can to ensure a future for our events. »

Ticket holders will be able to either transfer them for 2021 or request a refund. A call for donations has also been launched to support Goodwood, via the relaunch of the Goodwood Supporters’ Association.
