Historic Tour in Charade: an uncompromising track for a rich program

Historic Tour in Charade: an uncompromising track for a rich program

The event contested on the hilliest track of the season also marks the midpoint of the 2020 season. The fight for the controls of the two general classifications (Single-seaters / Protos and GT / Touring) is divided between five pilots : Frédéric Rouvier (March 783) in F3 Classic, Christian Vaglio-Giors (Martini MK51) in Formula Renault Classic, Geoffroy Horion (Van Diemen) en Formule Ford Kent, Laurent Sabatier (Porsche 993 GT2) en GT Classic et Franck Quagliozzi (Honda Civic) en Youngtimers GTI Cup.

As for weekend attractions, we note the long-awaited return of Fabrice Lefebvre and his Audi Quattro overpowering (570 horsepower) in Saloon Cars. The Dijonnais skipped the first two 2020 meetings due to a faulty camshaft sensor in Albi in mid-July, leading to the risk of a belt breakage.

In Formula 3 Classic, an example passed into the hands of the three-time world champion Formula 1 Nelson Piquet arrives. It's about a March 773, 1977 led by the Italian Marco Coppini, who joins the list which notably includes the Chairman of the Management Board of the PSA Group, Carlos Tavares.

On the circuit which hosted four editions of the Formula 1 French Grand Prix, no less than 18 races are planned from August 29 to 30. This slight decrease is explained by the meeting of the plateaus ASAVE 65 and 75.

Spectators are accepted on site, provided they wear a mask at all times and respect physical distancing... and carry a k-way with you, as the weather forecast is so bleak!
