Isola 2000: the pilots will fight it out

The duel between Jean-Philippe Dayraut (Skoda) and Alain Prost (Dacia) will be able to get back on track. This Friday, the resumption of the ice competition, after the end-of-year holidays, had to be postponed due to heavy snowfall in the Alpes-Maritimes. Due to the improvement in weather conditions, the races will still be able to take place. The races postponed on Friday will be contested this Saturday and the competition is extended until Sunday noon to allow all races to take place.

Favorite at Isola 2000 due to his title won last year and his lead in the general classification, Jean-Philippe Dayraut will carry 60 kg of ballast. However, the Skoda driver was able to show more than once that he was able to cope with the handicap linked to his victories. Alain Prost, who will only carry 20 kg, will try to take advantage of this advantage to regain points from his rival. Olivierr Panis (Skoda), Franck Lagorce and Jean-Baptiste Dubourg (Clio Renault III) will also try to take important points before reaching the mid-season mark.
