Jean-Baptiste Dubourg continues at Serre-Chevalier

The defending champion left his mark yesterday in the Hautes-Alpes for the first race of the Andros Trophy 2018-2019 in Serre-Chevalier.

Jean-Baptiste Dubourg (Renault Captur) emerged victorious from his duel that began in qualifying with Franck Lagorce (Andros Sport), who seemed well on his way to once again placing the new 100 electric car at the top of the hierarchy.

Best time in Q1 by 132 thousandths ahead of Dubourg, Lagorce finally lost at the end of Q2, the DA Racing driver greatly improving the reference time (2'32″849). Dubourg will not give Lagorce any chance in the final to win this first day ahead of its rival and the other Andros Sport Electrique of Aurélien Panis.

The Audi A1s of Nathanaël Berthon and Olivier Panis complete the top 5 of the day. Overall, Dubourg is 17 points ahead of Aurélien Panis before the second round contested this Sunday.

In Elite, Dorian Boccolacci once again imposed the BMW of Team CMR ahead of Lionel Daziano (Audi A1) and Emmanuel Moinel (Renault Captur). Christophe Ferrier was the strongest in the Trophée Andros Electrique, preceding Matthieu Vaxivière and Louis Gervoson.
