Jean-Baptiste Dubourg returns to success in C1 at Isola 2000

The end-of-year holidays and the usual break in the calendar Andros Trophy did not serve DA Racing and Jean-Baptiste Dubourg. For the resumption of the debates at Isola 2000 (Alpes-Maritimes), the defending champion offered himself a clear victory yesterday in race 1.

Large dominator during the qualifying tests, Dubourg and his Renault Zoe took pole then won in the final ahead of Nathanaël Berthon (Peugeot 208 – Pussier Compétition), author of a better activation in the first sequences than Nicolas Cheers (Renault Zoe – DA Racing), yet qualified on the front row.

Enough to make Prost lose his momentum, who will not be able to resist the attacks of his pursuers and will finish last in this Super Final. WTCR drivers Aurélien Panis (Audi – Saintéloc Racing) and Yann Ehrlacher (Andros Sport 01 – Muller Racing) finished the Super Final in 3rd and 4th position, but it was Aurélien Panis who took second place of the day behind Dubourg, taking in his wake Nathanaël Berthon.

In Elite, Sylvain Pussier (Peugeot 208 – Pussier Compétition) won ahead of Emmanuel Moinel (Renault Zoe – DA Racing).
