Ukraine crowned in Drift at the FIA Motorsport Games
On the wet Vallelunga track, Ukraine claimed the first gold medal of these 2019 FIA Motorsport Games, dominating the Czech Republic in the Top 16 Drift final.
On his Nissan 200SX, Dmitriy Illyuk was the strongest in the duel against Michal Reichert (BMW M3), the final decision having been rendered after a long deliberation by the judges. The bronze medal went to Ilia Fedorov (Russia – Nissan Silvia), eliminated in the semi-final by Michal Reichert.
After free practice and individual qualifying, the results of each round of the final phases are awarded by a jury, which holds several pieces of information, including speed, crossing angle, and respect for the line.
