The bulk of the 2010 Argentina - Chile Dakar caravan arrived safely, aboard the Grande Brazile, and was presented at the Delta Dock complex, located in the town of Lima in Argentina.

The Dakar caravan has arrived in Argentina

A total of 550 vehicles, most of them entered in the race, others intended for the organization or the press, were unloaded until this morning. They are now ready to face the 32nd edition of the rally, which will take place from January 1 to 17.

Yesterday, a specialized team worked to unload all the equipment loaded into the port of Le Havre on November 30. The vehicles entered in the competition are now parked in a closed park which they will leave to carry out the technical and administrative checks organized within the La Rural center on December 29, 30 and 31.

The line-up of vehicles entered will be completed by a few dozen additional machines which will arrive in Argentina from various countries, as well as cars, motorcycles, quads and trucks from South American competitors whose number is breaking all records this year. .

The countdown has now begun for the thousands of Argentinian supporters who are impatiently awaiting the start of the event. The race will start on January 1 with the presentation of 184 motorcycles and quads, 136 cars and 52 trucks, on the podium installed opposite the Obelisk, on Avenue du 9 Juillet, one of the main arteries of the Argentine capital.
