The FIA ​​launches its first Motorsport Games in Rome

The International Automobile Federation (FIA) is launching its first “Motorsport Games” in 2019. The institution announced on Friday June 28 the holding of the first edition of these Games in Rome (Italy), from October 31 to November 3. 

The Motorsport Games will be an annual event. In 2019, six disciplines will be represented : Grand Touring (GT), Touring, Formula 4, drifting, slalom karting and digital motorsport (eSports). Participants will defend the colors of their nation and the first three pilots will win a medal (gold, silver, bronze), like in the Olympic Games. 

The opening ceremony will be held in Rome on October 31, but the events will all take place on the Vallelunga circuit, only 32 kilometers south of the Italian capital. These Games will be promoted by Stéphane Ratel Organization (SRO) Motorsports Group.
