Lamera Cup – TTM 48 and Alma R-Tremblay launch the 2021 season

Saturday, after 4 hours of a race started on a wet track, the Di Duca – Bros – Rousseaux (TTM 48) crew took overall victory for the first round of the Lamera Cup 2021 on the Nivere track of Magny -Course.

Starting eighth, avoiding errors and penalties on a track drying out as the laps went by, the TTM 48 crew was also the one who was able to spend the least time in the pits. The leaders' setbacks were also profitable for him.

Starting from pole, finally classified ninth, Team Lamera (Couasnon, Wilfried and Thomas Merafina) was relegated to the bottom of the classification in the first laps following poor braking by the Lamera L'Auto Leclerc by Asphalte (Soave, Gruau, Orgeval).

Another contender for victory, Continental Racing (Fargier, Coué, Billet), sixth after qualifying, was forced to return to the pits on the first lap after being harpooned by the CTF Ellipse crew (Giudicelli, Vaney , Bernardi, Meissonnier) at the Adelaide bend.

On the Elite Podium, TTM 48 is joined by the Alma R-Tremblaye team (Tremblaye, Loeul, Ettienne) and the ETC Racing-1 trio (Dorchy, Froment, Mary). Seventh at the end of qualifying, second overall, the ETC Racing-2 team (Parsa, Dufour, Millara) finished first in the Pro-Am category. In the Gentleman category, victory for Castelmore Racing (Nagels, Geerits, Janssens).

The next day, due to heavy rain, the start of race 2 (8 hours) was given under safety car regime. Team Lamera (Couasnon, Wilfried and Thomas Merafina) retains its pole position and the CTF Racing Stage teams (Beraud, Poret, Boust) and Team TTM 48 (Di Duca, Bros, Rousseaux) their 2nd and 3rd places. Behind, the L'Auto Leclerc by Asphalte crew (Soave, Gruau, Orgeval) quickly gained two positions to catch up with the leading trio.

Given the weather conditions, errors will occur several times at different levels of the peloton. Winner in race 1 on Saturday, the TTM 48 team will retire after going off the track. In the lead, the crews Team Lamera, Alma R-Tremblay (Tremblaye, Loeul, Ettienne) and L'Auto Leclerc by Asphalte engaged in a battle of almost six hours which saw the Alma R-Tremblay team win overall and in Elite category.

He is ahead of L'Auto Leclerc by Asphalte and the ETC Racing-2 crew (Parsa, Dufour, Millara) reclassified Elite after starting the meeting in Pro-Am. Victory for the Ange Barde Racing by ETC team (Lurol, Czimer, Penelon) in the Pro-Am category, imitated by the Thimo crew (Thirion, Morales, Chapuzet) in the Gentleman category.
