Canada on the menu for the 2020 TitansRX calendar

The 2020 TitansRX calendar, which will enter its second edition, will bring several new features for competitors who will aim to succeed Kevin Hansen, first winner of the championship promoted by MJP and Max Pucher.

Seven rounds will be on the menu, six plus the super final at Nyriad in Hungary, a destination which will be visited twice by the series next year.

If the Lydden Hill meeting disappears, Trois-Rivières will constitute the main change in the calendar, with a visit across the Atlantic planned for the beginning of August, as part of the Trois-Rivières Grand Prix. A first international outing for the championship.

Another new feature is the addition of two “regional” cups: the Cup North and the Cup South, where drivers can be entered by competing in only three of the six events before the grand final. The North division will be made up of the Austrian (MJP Arena), Hungarian and Canadian events, while the Cup South will bring together the Portuguese (Montalegre), French (Essay) and German (Estering) rounds.

Between 15 and 20 cars are expected by promoter Max Pucher. Note that 2020 will see the Pantera RX6 adopt Hoosier tires, three times more durable over time, but also updated engine blocks to reduce Co2 and particle emissions, with non-fossil fuel.
