The Spa-Francorchamps circuit is revealed

One of the big events of the 2019 World Championship season rallycross (World RX) will be the appearance of the Spa-Francorchamps track (Belgium) on May 11 and 12. Until now contested in Mettet, the Benelux round (Belgium-Netherlands-Luxembourg) will use part of the Formula 1 circuit, with its famous Eau Rouge passage.

This Wednesday, February 6, the organizers of the event revealed the World RX circuit. It will be long 913 meters, and will be located in the endurance zone well known to spectators of the Ardennes circuit.

The spectacular climb of Raidillon and its 15% slope will be followed by a hairpin bend shortly before the summit of Eau Rouge. At the bottom of the descent, the drivers will enter the dirt section (40% of the lap, compared to 60% asphalt). The passage of the Joker round will consist of two jumps. A sloping turn (banking) is also planned.

In order to bring a family audience to the event, the Spa-Francorchamps circuit plans concerts, DJ sets, drift sessions open to fans, a children's zone and a Food & Beer culinary festival.

The ticketing is open from 17 euros for children and 37 euros for adults present.
