The 2015 Dakar starts in Buenos Aires

The administrative and technical checks completed yesterday allowed 406 vehicles, including 137 cars, to appear at the start of the new edition of the Dakar, the route of which will pass through Argentina, Bolivia and Chile with a return to Buenos Aires.

The crews will embark on a first special of 170km between the Argentine capital and Villa Carlos Paz. The fast tracks traced in the pampas, interspersed with right-angle turns, should allow you to get a first impression of the forces present.

The departure of the cars will be at 10:42 a.m. (14:42 p.m. in France). As every year, France TV will provide coverage of the event with Le Dakar on France 4 from 18:35 p.m., Le Journal du Dakar on France 3 from 20:05 p.m., Le Bivouac on France 2 from 00:20 a.m. and Le Bivouac (rebroadcast) on France Ô the next day from 8 a.m.

The viewer's Roadbook produced by AUTOhebdo, with all the TV schedules and details of the stages, can be found in issue 1991.
