Ligier European Series – HP Racing takes revenge, Bihel confirms

Dominated during the first race by the No. 34 of Les Deux Arbres, Jacopo Faccioni and Alessandro Cicognani took their revenge during the second of this opening Catalan meeting, in the JS P4 category.

Engaged in the No. 23 HP Racing by MonzaGarage, the two Italians recited a score without the slightest false note and took advantage of the setbacks of their rivals.

The No. 4 JS P34 of Les Deux Arbres first received a Stop&Go for not respecting the minimum refueling time required by Steve Zacchia, then Jacques Nicolet spun on the sister car.

« This is only our first meeting with this car, Faccioni exclaimed in surprise. Our room for improvement is significant. This result was unexpected and we are therefore delighted, especially as this car is really pleasant to drive. »

In JS2 R, Natan Biel, once again, did not find any opponents worthy of him. The M Racing resident won a second victory. But although it may have seemed easy, Mathieu Martins (M Racing) gave him a bit of trouble and his lead over the No. 24 of Orhès Racing, which his opponent shared with Olivier Pernaut, was ultimately only 7”9. .

The top three is completed by Laurent Millara, entered in the No. 2 M Racing JS69 R.

The next round of the Ligier European Series is scheduled for May 14 and 15 on the Red Bull Ring, Austria.
