Sébastien Loeb (Peugeot ) was well served in the draw determining the starting grids for the World RX Q1 races in Estering (Germany). The nine-time champion WRC will start on pole for the 4th and final race of the first qualifying round, starting in front of Guerlain Chicherit (Renault), Niclas Grönholm (Hyundai), Liam Doran (Renault) et Kevin Hansen (Peugeot).
The EKS Audi Sport team was the luckiest since the two S1 quattros started on pole. Andreas Bakkerud will start in the lead in the first race ahead of René Münnich (Seat) and Kjetil Larsen (Volkswagen). The recent double world champion Johan Kristoffersson (Volkswagen) will start from 4th row ahead of Anton Marklund (Renault). As for boss-driver Mattias Ekström, he will start ahead of Grégoire Demoustier (Peugeot), Timur Timerzyanov (Hyundai), Oliver Bennett (Mini) and Timmy Hansen (Peugeot).
Petter Solberg (Volkswagen) will start on pole for the second race ahead of Janis Baumanis (Ford), Robin Larsson (Ford), the new European champion Cyril Rymond (Peugeot) and Kevin Eriksson (Ford).
Note the absence of Finnish Mikko Ikonen who was included in the entry list in a private Ford Fiesta.

Q1 of World RX will be contested at 12:40 p.m. while the second qualifying round will follow at 14:55 p.m. Both rounds will be followed live streaming on AUTOhebdo.fr.
