Mountain – Nicolas Schatz champion of France

Nicholas Schatz continues its domination on the French Mountain Championship scene. The Norma M20 FC driver secured a sixth national title on his record by winning this weekend during the climb of the Mont-dore, near Clermont-Ferrand.

Competed in relatively mild conditions this Sunday, the three climbs allowed Schatz to set the best time in 2'17"217 during the second session. The now six-time champion is 355 thousandths ahead of Sébastien Petit's sister car.

Geoffrey Schatz (Reynard 95D) completes the podium of the event more than five seconds behind, just ahead of Cyrille Frantz (Norma M20 FC) and Alban Thomas (Reynard 01KL)

In Production, already crowned at the Dunières meeting, Nicolas Werver did not cease its domination, imposing itself at Mont-Dore in front of the Renault Megane Trophy by Francis Dosières and the Porsche 997 GT3 Cup by David Dieulangard.

Find the report of the Mont-Dore event, in issue 2024 of AUTOhebdo, available from tomorrow evening in digital version, and from this Wednesday on newsstands.
