N. Prost: “Dream weekend”

Nicolas Cheers, winner of the first Electric Trophy, is determined to retain his title. The son of the four-time World Champion F1 did not go far from "perfect" in Andorra, having won three of the four races, plus a second place (behind Franck Lagorce) in race 3. This performance allowed him to strengthen his place as leader in the general classification.

“It was a dream weekend. But we always want more, it would have been great to win all four races! », quips Nicolas Prost for AUTOhebdo.fr. “It was a very good weekend, I had a lot of fun, I was able to perform well in all the rounds, whatever the conditions. It?s quite reassuring. But the championship is long and difficult. However, I scored important points this weekend, we must continue like this. »

The Rebellion pilot in Endurance confides that his position as reigning champion of the Andros Trophy Electric, however, is not easy to defend. “We put a little pressure on ourselves. When you win, you want to do it a second time. For me, the most important thing is to succeed in taking pole to try to start at the front of each race: when you start at the front, you avoid problems. This is what will make the difference in the championship. »

Nicolas Prost also appreciates taking part in a competition in which a good atmosphere reigns between the different protagonists. “The cars are fragile and are two-wheel drive; we know that if we come into contact with a competitor, one of the two cars will break. So there is a lot of respect between us and we don't attack each other excessively. In motorsport, you obviously have to win but you also have to maintain a good atmosphere because it's more fun to race like that. »
