First podium for Fernando Alonso in rally raid
Fernando Alonso et Marc Coma (Toyota) ramènent leur première coupe depuis le début de leur association en rally-raid. The Spanish duo finished the 2019 Al-Ula Neom Rally in third place after the fourth and final stage on Saturday (November 8).

This competition, held in the north-west of Saudi Arabia, was the last test in racing conditions for the former driver of Formula 1. On the Toyota Hilux 4×4, the double winner coming out of the 24 Hours of Le Mans finished behind his teammates and winners Yazeed Al-Rajhi-Konstantin Zhiltsov and Yasir Bin Seaidan-François Cazalet (Mini).

The Asturian's delay in relation to the Saudi winner is 16'20'' after 1 km of racing; Fernando Alonso also benefited from Khalid Al-Qassimi's retirement due to mechanical problems (Peugeot ).
