Loeb's first tests with the BRX T1

After four participations in the Dakar with the buggies Peugeot , Sebastian Loeb will participate in the 2021 edition of the legendary rally-raid under the Bahrain Raid Xtreme banner, the operation of which is managed by Prodrive.

On the sidelines of his preparation for the 2021 Dakar, the nine-time world rally champion had the opportunity to try the T1, the BRX buggy, for the first time. Sébastien Loeb did it during a series of tests conducted in Millbrook in Bedfordshire (England) by Bahrain Raid Xtreme.

In total, the Frenchman and Nani Roma, the other BRX holder, covered almost 2000 kilometers, the equivalent of four Dakar special stages, in different types of conditions reminiscent of those of the said competition. “ The team and drivers leave with good feelings after the car's very good performance during testing ", Reads the statement.

« I immediately felt that the car was very well balanced and had plenty of power., indicates Sébastien Loeb. Even in wet conditions with little grip, I had no trouble controlling it. I think with further testing we can improve its potential. ».

Tests in the Middle East now await BRX and the Frenchman who “ can't wait » to go there to test your buggy on the sand.
