19 drivers entered at Spa in World RX
The ninth round of the 2020 WRX championship will take place on the banks of the Spa-Francorchamps circuit on November 21 and 22. 19 pilots are expected on site. In addition to the permanent teams, we will find the Englishman Oliver Bennett who will make his third appearance of the season in a Mini just like Enzo Ide in the seat of an Audi.
The Belgian made his debut in the discipline last year at Spa. Finnish Juha Rytkonen will make his first WRX race in a Ferratum Ford Fiesta. Also a first for Luigi at the wheel of a Skoda Fabia.
Johan Kristoffersson and Mattias Ekström will battle for the title in this penultimate meeting of the season. The event will finally host the final of the European Championship. 22 drivers from nine nationalities will be present, led by the Swede Oliver Eriksson (Ford Fiesta) winner of two rounds this season, the Frenchman Jean-Baptiste Dubourg (Peugeot 208) and Ben-Philip Gundersen (Audi S1).
