This is called a winning return. Participating in his first round of the French Championship season rallycross, Fabien Pailler left no chance to his competitors in Côtes-d'Armor.
Leading the intermediate classification on Saturday evening, the driver of the Peugeot 208 WRX No. 96 hit hard this Sunday.
Winner of his semi-final after setting the 7th and 2nd times in the last two qualifying heats, Fabien Pailler did it again in the final.
Sandwiched between Samuel Peu and Romuald Delaunay on the front row, he made an excellent start, taking control of the race from the first lap. Neck and neck with the first runner-up, Fabien Pailler lets him take his joker before the latter takes his turn in the penultimate loop.
Sheltered from an attack by Samuel Peu in the last few hundred meters, Fabien Pailler made a perfect return to competition. Out of the race from the first lap, Romuald Delaunay finished 6th. Leader before this round, the latter sees Little pick up the rankings. The two men are in the lead with 147 points each.
Jimmy Terpereau (Super1600), Benoît Morel (Division 3), Sébastien Le Ferrand (Division 4), Arthur Le Boudouil (Juniors) and Alizée Pottier (Women) won in their respective categories this Sunday.
