Guillaume de Ridder returns to RX2

After freelancing in WorldRX in 2019, Guillaume de Ridder will make his return to competition. However, it will not be in WRX but RX2.

« I’m excited to get back into racing after so long out of the cockpit. I really didn't think I'd have the opportunity to ride this year, especially in light of the current situation - but then the RX2 announced this Danish meeting, which offered a lifeline to resource-constrained riders like Me.

I didn't ride at all in 2020. With such an incredible champion prize, I immediately got to work making things happen ". The winner of the championship will earn the right to participate in a round of the eRX2 championship, the new 100% discipline replacing RX2 from next year.

In the fight for the title in 2018, Guillaume de Ridder hopes to climb to the top of the podium this time. And to successfully complete his task, the OMSE team driver has no margin for error. Indeed, the 2020 championship only has one round. This is planned for Nysum in Denmark (September 4-6).

« Winning this weekend would be a great stepping stone to the future, and after finishing third in RX2 in 2017 and second in 2018, I definitely have a little unfinished business in the championship, so I'll do everything I can to do it well and finish my work! ».
