Johan Kristoffersson (Volkswagen) was uncompromising at the end of the first two qualifying rounds of the World RX meeting in Lohéac (Ille-et-Vilaine). The Championship leader won Q1 before setting the second fastest time in Q2 despite a missed start, perhaps due to a movement by Andreas Bakkerud on the grid.
The Norwegian is in 3rd place behind his teammate Mattias Ekströmn, while Petter Solberg completes the leading quartet after being a little roughed up in the second heat (7th time).
The pilots Peugeot Timmy Hansen and Sébastien Loeb are in 5th and 6th places, the nine-time champion of WRC n’ayant signé que le 9e chrono de la Q2. Le Top 10 est complété par Niclas Grönholm (Hyundai), Kevin Eriksson (Ford), Kevin Hansen (Peugeot) et Liam Doran (Renault). Guerlain Chicherit (Renault) moved up to 11th place ahead of Timur Timerzyanov (Hyundai).
Davy Jeanney (Peugeot) is now in 16th position ahead of Grégoire Demoustier (Peugeot). Gaëtan Serazin (Peugeot), Emmanuel Anne (Peugeot) and Hervé Knapick (DS 3) complete the ranking.
