This morning, the weather was threatening with big black clouds without getting wild. This afternoon, the story was quite different since the rain came to Höljes and in what way!
On a water-soaked track, it was the local Johan Kristoffersson who adapted best. Stronger than all, the PSRX Volkswagen Team Sweden driver went to achieve the first victory of the 2020 season.
From the start Johan Kristoffersson, helped by the collision between Timmy Hansen and Timo Scheider among others, took control from the first few meters of the race. Orders that he never let go until the checkered flag.

The winner's main rival, Mattias Ekström, tried as best he could to get back on Joahan Kristoffersson but his compatriot proved intractable. He therefore had to settle for second place on the podium ahead of the drafted Anton Marklund.
Timo Scheider and Niclas Grönholm crossed the finish line in 4th and 5th positions. Defending champion Timmy Hansen was unable to finish the race.
Thanks to this victory, the 21st of his career, Johan Kristoffersson takes control of the world championship with 30 points, 4 ahead of Mattias Ekström. Aton Marklund is relegated to eight units. See you this Sunday for the second round of World RX in Höljes.
