Johan Kristoffersson (Volkswagen) won his 7th victory of the season in 8 races by winning the Lohéac meeting (Ille-et-Vilaine) for the third year in a row. Starting on the second row after stumbling in the semi-final, the Championship leader took advantage of the late joker lap of the two EKS drivers to take the advantage and win ahead of Andreas Bakkerud (Audi).
Petter Solberg (Volkswagen) placed the second Polo R on the podium, ahead of the second Audi of Mattias Ekström. Both Peugeot 208 WRX bring up the rear with Timmy Hansen 5th ahead of Sébastien Loeb.
The nine-time champion of WRC was on a poor path to qualify for the final after finishing 12th in the qualifying heats, but the Alsatian bounced back by taking 2nd place in his semi-final won by the Norwegian from EKS.
