America Rallycross will have a calendar of 6 rounds for the 2019 season, two events more than during its inaugural season.
The promoters have signed long-term agreements with the Mid-Ohio and Gateway Motorsports Park circuits (Illinois) which will launch the 2019 season. ARX and ARX2 competitors will then return to Trois-Rivières (with the World RX) and the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas before returning to Mid-Ohio for the finale.
“We are delighted to present our 2019 calendar which includes a foray into American lands, comments Paul Bellamy, IMG Motorsports vice president in charge of promoting the ARX and World RX. Our multi-year contracts with Mid-Ohio and Gateay Motorsports Park are wonderful additions to our established partnerships with the Circuit of the Americas in Austin and the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières in Canada. »
The Americas Rallycross will only take place on American territory, the Silverstone round having been canceled.
