The list of entries for the year in World RX revealed

There will be 13 of them able to aim for the world crown World RX in 2020. 13 drivers will in fact be entered in the ten rounds of the World Championship campaign. Rallycross, an almost stable number compared to 2019.

Most of the discipline's regulars from recent years will be present, starting with outgoing world champion Timmy Hansen, who will find his Peugeot 208 WRX of Team Hansen, alongside his younger brother Kevin.

The Swedes will undoubtedly have to be wary of the ghost Johan Kristoffersson, double world champion in 2017 and 2018, and who will return to the Volkswagen Polo WRX which allowed him to reach the summits of the discipline before turning in 2019 to the rally and tourism.

The Hyundai i20 – GRX of Niclas Grönholm and Timur Timerzyanov should logically play in the leading pack, just like the Renault Megane RS RX – GCK of Andreas Bakkerud (beaten in number of victories by Timmy Hansen for the 2019 title) or Anton Marklund.

In the French clan, Guerlain Chichers will aim to place the Renault Clio RS RX – Unkorrupted in the top places, its structure remaining the most represented in the field by combining the Megane and the Clio.

Several other drivers are expected to join the fight at each world round, adding to the field at each meeting.

The Barcelona circuit is due to open the season on April 18 and 19. Note that the Höljes meeting in Sweden will complete the Projekt E calendar, 100% electric support series, after the cancellation of the Russian round.
