We had only seen it with a camouflage livery. This time, the car that will equip all FIA RX2e competitors from 2021 was revealed on November 18.
The vehicle, developed by the Spanish company QEV Technologies for the electrical part and Olsbergs MSE for the mechanics, has a more impressive aerodynamic package than its big thermal sister.
“Our design team imagined a new, unique and striking look, as a real sign of change towards a more responsible way of imagining the future of our sport,” says Pere Gonzalez, Project Manager of the RX2e.

Under the bodywork are two independent electric motors generating 250 kW or 335 horsepower and 460 Nm of torque. This represents an increase of 24% and 14% compared to the existing Supercar Lites in RX2 petrol version.
Six events are planned for 2021, in support of the World Championship of rallycross (WorldRX). The final schedule will be announced soon.
