The title in sight for Jean-Baptiste Dubourg

With four victories to his credit this year (Châteauroux, Sarthe-Lavaré, Lessay and Pont-de-Ruan), Jean Baptiste Dubourg is leading the French Super1600 championship, with more than 30 points ahead of his closest pursuer, David Olivier (Twingo 2 S1600). On one of the most technical circuits of the season, where the slightest driving error is punished by contact with the rail, the DA Racing driver will seek valuable points to confirm his status in the hierarchy.

« After experience at the highest European level in rallycross which reassured me about the level of performance of the car and the team, I will arrive in Mayenne with confidence, underlines Jean-Baptiste. It's an uncompromising track in terms of car settings. We are reaching the last third of the championship and we must not relax our efforts to approach the next meeting with the same philosophy. At Lohéac, we were able to see that the French pilots had nothing to envy of the European pilots. Like last weekend, it will therefore be important to perform well to aim for a place on the podium. »
