World RX cancels Abu Dhabi event
World RX will have to wait a bit before returning to the Yas Marina circuit (Abu Dhabi). The 2020 event, which was to serve as a “double header” to the World Championship at the end of October, has been canceled.
“The health and safety of everyone remains a priority during these unprecedented circumstancess, explains a press release from the circuit. We look forward to welcoming drivers, teams and fans to this world-class event in 2021.”
With Abu Dhabi gone, the first three rounds of Sweden, Finland and Latvia will act as doubles in 2020.
