The TitansRX fight for their future

Max Pucher quickly delayed the start of the TitansRX season given the scale of the global crisis with the coronavirus. While MJP had great plans with the partnership operated by All-Inkl.com Münnich Motorsport to develop a Supercars field in parallel with the Pantera RX6, its ambitions are at a standstill.

“We could see that my decision to suspend our operations was the right one a few weeks into the coronavirus crisis, comments the Austrian businessman. When I heard about the lockdown measures, it was clear that we would only have a few races in 2020 and that many more championships would be postponed or canceled. »

“We then lost the support of drivers and sponsors who did not want to share our risks, which we understand. The automobile, gasoline and tourism industries are trapped in a market-driven spiral. Too few people realize the economic and political crisis we are going through”, adds Max Pucher.

Despite this bleak situation, the boss of MJP wants to believe in the future of his discipline.

“All our development programs on the Pantera have been completed and testing has begun. All cars are in various stages of reassembly and most are ready. We will need four weeks to reassemble them all. While Austria maintains lockdown for non-essential work, staff have been laid off and will be rehired when we regain support from partners and pilots. MJP is financially stable and will be able to restart its operations once this madness is over”, concludes the director of TitansRX.

MJP was scheduled to kick off its second season on the weekend of April 26 at the MJP Arena in Austria. The Austrian structure is now fighting to ensure a future for its series.
