Loeb holds off Kristoffersson in Cape Town

Johan Kristoffersson (Volkswagen) won his second consecutive qualifying round after Q3 in Cape Town. The reigning double world champion won in the last race, beating Sébastien Loeb (Peugeot ), winner of the previous race. The nine-time champion WRC preceded his teammate Timmy Hansen who himself was ahead of Petter Solberg (Volkswagen) and the Audi S1 ​​quattro EKS of Mattias Ekström and Andreas Bakkerud.

Mattias Ekström remains 5th ahead of his teammate Andreas Bakkerud. Kevin Hansen is in 7th place ahead of Anton Marklund, Timur Timerzyanov, Janis Baumanis, Kevin Eriksson and Timo Scheider.

Guerlain Chicherit is the first in the provisional eliminated zone, ahead of Niclas Grönholm, Robin Larsson, René Münnich, Grégoire Demoustier and Oliver Bennett.
