Ma Qing Hua returns to Montalegre

The FIA ​​has published the entry list for the Montalegre round (Portugal), the second event of the 2018 World RX season held on the weekend of April 29.

Ma Qing Hua will once again be present at the wheel of a Ford Fiesta fielded by Team Stard, Manfred Stohl's team. The test driver of the NIO team in Formula e will already take part in the inaugural meeting next week in Barcelona (Spain) after discovering his bike during pre-season testing.

As expected, Philippe Maloigne will be the fourth Frenchman entered in Supercar. The G-Fors resident whose main program focuses on the French Championship will compete several times this year at the wheel of the Renault Clio RS developed by the Guerlain Chicherit structure (different from GC Kompetition).

Local drivers will also be in the spotlight with Joaquim Santos once again present in Montalegre in a Ford Focus entered with the Bom Piso Racing Team. His compatriot Mario Barbosa will be behind the wheel of a DS 3 after making his Supercar debut at Barcelona in the European Championship.

Oliver Bennett will be back in a Mini Cooper in the colors of Xite Racing after a first participation in Barcelona. The Briton finished fifth in the second round of the British RX held last week at Lydden Hill.

The field will be completed by the S1600 category of Euro RX. the list will be published after the Barcelona round by the FIA.
