Several wildcards for Spa
Mattias Ekström will not be the only one to be entered as a “wildcard” for Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium) which will host the third round of World RX on May 11 and 12.
The entry list presents a list of 21 drivers. Enzo Ide will make his debut in World RX racing alongside the 2016 world champion in the second Audi S1 quattro of Team JC Race Teknik. The Belgian flag will also be represented by Grégoire Demoustier who will return to the Peugeot 208 of Sébastien Loeb Racing after playing full-time last year. Hervé “Knapick” Lemmonier will also take part in the event aboard his DS 3.
The squad will be completed by Pal Try who will drive Team Stard's second Ford Fiesta alongside Janis Baumanis. GRX will field a third Hyundai i20 for Finnish Joni Wiman.
