First success for Grosset-Janin in TitansRX in Estering

Jérôme Grosset-Janin obtained his first success in TitansRX by winning the first final in Estering (Germany), contested in muddy conditions which caused damage to the peloton.

The first start of the final ended quickly due to a red flag following a collision between wildcard Kevin Eriksson and “CsuCsu”. It was the Frenchman who negotiated the second start best as he started from the back of the grid, getting rid of Timmy Hansen as the lights went out before overtaking Toomas Heikkinen and Kevin Hansen at the first corner.

Some of his opponents vying for the title have had less success. Timmy Hansen retired after suffering contact with the wall, while Toomas Heikkinen dismounted following damage to his Pantera RX6. However, the latter would finish in 3rd place due to other retirements, Kevin Hansen performing the right operation in the fight for the coronation by taking 2nd position.

“It was a tough race, recognized the 4th winner of the discipline. There are two things that matter in these moments: being fast and being at the finish. I succeeded and I am very happy about it. I'm very moved, it's my first success at this level. »

Kevin Hansen is best placed to be crowned at the end of the last race contested this Sunday. The Swede is 14 points ahead of Toomas Heikkinen and 17 points ahead of his brother Timmy.

The qualifying heats for Race 2 will be broadcast on Eurosport Player from 10:55 a.m., the semi-finals and the final from 16 p.m. and from 18:15 p.m. on Eurosport 2.
