Rallycross – Andréa Dubourg ready for Supercar

Andréa Dubourg will join the Supercars field this year by participating in the French Championship of Rallycross with a new DS 3 DAR prepared by DA Racing. Jean-Baptiste's brother completed a long test session at the wheel of his 500 hp, 1130 kg vehicle before taking part in the first round of the season at Essay (Orne) this weekend on the Ducs circuit.

“After competing in the European and French Championships in Rallycross S1600, the logical next step was to get behind the wheel of a Supercar. I was really looking forward to getting on board this new DS 3 Supercar DAR”, commented the French vice-champion in S1600. “Obviously, the first few laps were more like making contact before gradually increasing the pace. »

“It’s a well-designed and healthy car”, added Andréa Dubourg after her tests. “These sessions really allowed me to get to grips with the car and above all to familiarize myself with my new environment, such as managing the turbo. The DA Racing technical staff adapted very quickly to this new car, which is very important for general confidence. We are truly at the birth of the DS 3 Supercar DAR and the objective is to continue development without rushing. There is going to be a very big field with a lot of new drivers…”
